On the 1st of May 1929, in Piraeus, Kyriakos Zografos founded his first company. He imported on a sole agent’s based and sold through his shop most of the known brands in Europe of musical instruments, gramophones, radios and pianos and hunting shotguns also.
In due course he extended his retail sales by establishing two more branches, one in Athens and the other in Salonica.
After the II W.W. continuing his fruitful endeavours transfers the company’s seat in Athens and covers the market’s demand in home electric appliances, radios, motocycles, hunting shotguns from USA and Europe. A wide network of agents is organized all through Greece backing them up by guaranteing the imported products, repairing and offerning competent service.
In 1972 his only daughter Aikaterini Papadakis unites her company to her father’s one under the name N. Papadakis & Co Ltd. The company’s interest turned towards the hunting and target shooting items representing well known Houses, such as Verney Carron, Manufrance and Gaucher of France, LuMar of Italy, Norica of Spain.
Further, hunting clothing and accessories, specific gun cleaners, hunting knives, arcs, decorative and collection items enrich their interest.
In 1997 the company buys the property at 61 Stournari Str. in which was housed since 1962 and Constantinos N. Papadakis, Aikaterini’s son, undertakes the company management, as president of N. Papadakis S.A. Now the company represents on a sole agency’s basis and imports the following items:
