DENIX 1007/G Colt army mod. 1860
The Colt army mod. 1860 .44 caliber, was constructed in 1860 by the Colt's Manufacturing Company, about 200.00 in parts and was in production until 1873. Designed by Samuel Colt and was used in the Civil War and the war with the Indians. It was a side weapon used by the cavalry, infantry and naval forces. They used the same frame as the Colt Navy 1851, were .36 caliber but open their chamber at .44. Was 6-bullets, single action and used rotating cylinder 0.454'' (11chil.).
