RICHARD THE LIONHEART

Richard I the Lionheart (Oxford September 8, 1157 - April 6, 1199) was King of England and Duke of Aquitaine (1189 to 1199). Named Lionheart because of his courage on the battlefield. In Welsh legend, Arthur's sword is known as Caledfwlch.
