MARTO SWORD 503
CARLOMAGNO SWORD 503
A copy of the sword of the King of the Franks and Emperor of Western Europe, Charlemagne, born in 742 or 747m.Ch. and became known for his efforts to protect the Franks from the barbarians who lived in Germany, in the Rhine region. The boundless ambition, sometimes excessive, to impart Christianity in Germany, France, Italy and other parts of Europe, with aggressive tactics, made him the founder of Holy European Empire, comes to fill the gap after the Roman Empire in Europe and reach out to our days differently. He was wise and versatile statesman and strategist. He died in 814 AD and was buried in his own cathedral at Aachen.
The original sword is now in the Louvre. The copy of Marto is a sword with a blade made of forged steel and gold plated cross handle with performances.
