At the cross of the handle , is embossed the Holy Grail and the top of the handle , a lion. The rest of the handle is leather wrapped with wire and the cross has Celtic knots.

Christopher Columbus (Spanish: Cristóbal Colón, Cristóbal Colón) (between August 26 and October 31, 1451 - May 20, 1506) was an Italian navigator cartographer admiral and viceroy, famous because he discovered America in 1492. Considering the story particularly important fact of his arrival in America in 1492, calls the historical period before his arrival before Columbus or pre-Columbian period. A copy of the sword of the King of the Franks and Emperor of Western Europe, Charlemagne, born in 742 or 747m.Ch. and became known for his efforts to protect the Franks from the barbarians who lived in Germany, in the Rhine region. He was wise and versatile statesman and strategist. He died in 814 AD and was buried in his own cathedral at Aachen. The original sword is now in the Louvre. The copy of Marto is a sword with a blade made of forged steel and gold plated cross handle with performances.
